What sexual health and pelvic wellness care is

Desire and pelvic support depend on more than one system. Dr. Sarah Secor-Jones, DO, FACEP reads your hormones and your pelvic floor function as one picture, then builds a plan from what she finds.

Your plan comes from what your own labs and history show, rather than a single prescription, device or quick procedure.

How care works here

Every new patient starts with a discovery call with Dr. Sarah, who says plainly whether the practice is the right fit. Your first in-depth visit is in person or by telehealth when appropriate, with a full history including medications and surgeries, and advanced labs chosen from your symptoms.

When results return, you meet again. Dr. Sarah walks through them in plain language and ties what the labs show back to the symptoms that brought you here.

What sexual health and pelvic wellness covers

Low libido and arousal changes

Low libido and arousal changes

Shifts in estrogen, testosterone and thyroid can flatten desire. The same shifts reduce natural lubrication and change how orgasm feels.

Treatments+

Through bioidentical hormone therapy and targeted supplements, Dr. Sarah works to restore balance so your brain and body receive the right signals again. When pelvic floor function is part of the picture, EMSELLA is added to the plan, with fully clothed sessions of about 28 minutes that strengthen the pelvic floor.

Causes+

Hormones shift with age, stress and birth control. Sleep loss and chronic stress drain energy and interest alongside them.

Pelvic wellness covers the muscles and nerves that support your bladder and sexual function. It matters if you leak urine, feel pelvic pressure, have pain with sex, or notice changes after childbirth.

Yes, higher serotonin from some antidepressants can blunt libido and delay orgasm. That does not mean stopping your medication. Dr. Sarah reviews your prescriptions and sexual symptoms, then coordinates with you and your prescribing provider to adjust care safely.

Dr. Sarah can order appropriate testing when your history suggests a need, explain what each test means and guide next steps. For urgent public health screening, she may direct you to county resources instead.
