Telehealth in Florida and beyond
Care that reads the whole picture, from wherever you are.

You may not live in Sarasota, or you may, but your schedule is full and clinic visits keep slipping down the list. The fatigue, weight changes, brain fog, sleep issues, hot flashes or low mood have not waited. You are still trying to keep everything else moving while feeling less like yourself.
Telehealth lets you work with a physician who will actually sit with your story, your labs and your symptoms, without fighting traffic or rushing on your lunch break. For many patients, it is the only way consistent care is realistic.
At Lesh Lifestyle, telehealth visits with Dr. Sarah Secor-Jones, DO, FACEP bring the same root-cause, physician-led approach you would receive in the Sarasota office into your home in Florida, Alabama, Georgia, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, New York, Pennsylvania, Tennessee and Texas. One doctor, reading the whole picture, over a clear video link.
What telehealth at Lesh Lifestyle can help with
Telehealth is not a quick prescription refill. Used well, it is a way to investigate why you feel the way you do, then build a plan that fits your real life.
With telehealth, Dr. Sarah works with adults who are dealing with:
- Ongoing fatigue or energy crashes
- Weight gain that does not match your food or movement
- Perimenopause and menopause symptoms
- Irregular cycles or PMS that has shifted
- Sleep trouble, night sweats or early waking
- Brain fog, low mood or anxious thoughts
- Low libido or sexual health changes
- Concerns about insulin resistance, cholesterol or metabolic health
Some patients arrive after being told “everything is normal” because basic labs look fine. Telehealth visits give Dr. Sarah time to ask better questions, review more complete testing and connect what you are feeling to what is happening in your hormones, metabolism and nervous system.
Telehealth hormone therapy and metabolic care
Many patients find Lesh Lifestyle by searching for telehealth hormone therapy or an online hormone doctor because local options are limited, or the visits feel rushed and fragmented.
Hormones influence sleep, weight, mood, focus, sexual health and long-term disease risk. Dr. Sarah places hormone health inside a broader plan so changes help your day-to-day life and your future health.
Through telehealth, she can:
- Evaluate whether hormone therapy is appropriate for your stage of life
- Coordinate hormone treatment with medical weight loss when GLP-1 medications are used
- Look at associated issues like thyroid health, insulin resistance and inflammation
- Adjust doses based on both labs and how you actually feel
If you are in Florida, Alabama, Georgia, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, New York, Pennsylvania, Tennessee or Texas, telehealth may be a safe and effective way to receive hormone care without repeated travel.
Where telehealth is available
Lesh Lifestyle offers telehealth for adults in these states:
- Alabama
- Florida
- Georgia
- Maryland
- Michigan
- Missouri
- New York
- Pennsylvania
- Tennessee
- Texas
This means you can live in Miami, Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville or anywhere else in Florida and still work with Dr. Sarah by telehealth. The same applies if you are in Atlanta, Nashville, Detroit, Dallas, Houston, New York City, Baltimore or smaller towns in these states.
If you ever travel to Sarasota, you can choose to combine a telehealth plan with in-person services such as EMSCULPT NEO, Exion, EMSELLA or PRF-based regenerative treatments. Those procedures always happen in the clinic, never by telehealth.
The process
How telehealth works here
Telehealth at Lesh Lifestyle is simple to use, but it is not casual care. Every step is deliberate.
- Your care starts with a discovery call. Dr. Sarah takes these herself. No handoff, no script. You will talk about what you are feeling, what has already been tried and what you want life to feel like instead. She listens, asks focused questions and explains whether telehealth is the right path, or if you would be better served by an in-person visit in Sarasota. There is no pressure to sign up during the call. The goal is clarity.
- If you both decide to move forward, you receive secure intake forms through Practice Better. You can complete them on your phone or laptop. You will share your health history, medications, supplements, previous lab results and any past diagnoses. This lets Dr. Sarah come into your first full telehealth visit already familiar with your story instead of starting cold.
- You join your visit through a secure video link. Many patients sit at a desk or kitchen table with a cup of coffee or tea. No waiting room. No exam-room rush. During this visit, Dr. Sarah walks through your symptoms, reviews your intake in more depth and screens for anything that would make in-person care safer or more appropriate. She explains what she is thinking as she goes, in clear language. Together, you decide on next steps. That may include ordering more complete labs, starting a medical weight loss program, adjusting hormones, or beginning a structured plan for sleep, stress and nutrition.
- When labs are needed, Dr. Sarah orders them through partner labs in your state. You go in for a blood draw locally. Results come back to her electronically. For prescriptions, including GLP-1 medications for medical weight loss or bioidentical hormone therapy when appropriate, she sends orders to a local or mail-order pharmacy that serves your state. Everything follows state and federal telehealth regulations. You receive a clear explanation of what each medication or supplement is meant to do, and what to watch for.
- Follow-up visits are held by video. You talk through how you are feeling, review labs and adjust your plan. You can schedule visits at times that work around your work and family schedule. You also have secure messaging through Practice Better for quick questions between visits. The pace is steady and calm. The focus is a sustainable way forward.

FAQ
Telehealth FAQs
Telehealth at Lesh Lifestyle works through secure video visits and an online portal. You start with a discovery call with Dr. Sarah, complete intake forms, then meet by video from your home or office. Labs and prescriptions are handled locally in your state. Follow-ups keep your plan moving.
Lesh Lifestyle currently offers telehealth in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, New York, Pennsylvania, Tennessee and Texas. You must physically be in one of these states during your visit. If you are unsure, you can ask about your location during your discovery call.
Florida allows telehealth from out-of-state physicians if they are properly registered, and it allows Florida-licensed physicians like Dr. Sarah to care for patients who are in Florida. Lesh Lifestyle follows Florida telehealth rules and only treats patients who are physically in approved states at the time of the visit.
Lesh Lifestyle is a self-pay practice, so visits with Dr. Sarah are not billed directly to Florida Blue. Many patients use HSA funds or submit superbills to their insurance for possible reimbursement. You can ask your Florida Blue plan whether it reimburses out-of-network telehealth visits.
Yes, most Florida Blue plans offer their own telehealth florida services or partner platforms. Those are separate from Lesh Lifestyle. Here, you work directly with Dr. Sarah in a concierge model that is focused on root-cause care rather than brief sick visits.
Telehealth providers in Florida must follow state regulations, including any requirements from the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA). Lesh Lifestyle operates as a physician-owned practice and follows Florida rules for licensure, prescribing and telehealth visits. If regulations change, processes are updated.
Many hormone, metabolic and mental wellness concerns can be safely managed by telehealth. That includes perimenopause and menopause symptoms, medical weight loss, sleep issues, anxiety, mild depression and sexual health concerns. Dr. Sarah will tell you directly if an in-person evaluation in Sarasota or with a local doctor is safer.
Hands-on exams, procedures such as EMSCULPT NEO or EMSELLA, and emergency issues cannot be managed through telehealth. If you have chest pain, shortness of breath, stroke symptoms or severe pain, you need emergency care. Telehealth at Lesh Lifestyle focuses on ongoing, non-emergency care.
Telehealth can be as effective as in-person visits for many hormone, weight, sleep and mental wellness concerns when done thoughtfully. At Lesh Lifestyle, Dr. Sarah spends real time with you, reviews labs in detail and adjusts your plan step by step. If something requires an in-person exam, she will say so.
You will see Dr. Sarah more often at the beginning of care, then visits may space out as your plan settles. The schedule depends on your needs, your hormone or weight loss plan and how you are feeling. You and Dr. Sarah decide that together. Your health does not have to wait for a free afternoon in Sarasota. Telehealth lets you start from where you are, with a doctor who looks at the whole picture. When you are ready to see what that could look like for you, start with a conversation.
